Children and young people are one of Europe’s greatest assets.

Over 10,000 children and young people are now helping to shape the policies of the European Union. They participated in a consultation and the results are now available in the report “Our Europe, Our Rights, Our Future”.

The voices and opinions of children and young people who participated will also be taken into account by decision-makers when they design the upcoming European Union’s Strategy on the Rights of the Child.

For the European Parliament elections in May 2019, Voices of Youth ran a special blogging series to ensure that the opinions and voices of children and young people and heard during the elections and by incoming European politicians. Stay tuned for new blogs coming soon.
