The Mary Hammond Washington Chapter, NSDAR hosted a district workshop in Macon, Georgia. Daughters from around the state visited exhibits and attended learning sessions on topics such as genealogy, navigating the DAR website, completing a DAR application, and how to promote chapter membership. Hosting a Basket Fling, district chapters donated decorated gift baskets to raffle and generate funds for state DAR projects. Workshop opportunities hosted by NSDAR chapters provide wonderful opportunities for meeting new friends and collaborating with other chapters. The traditions of NSDAR direct our paths in service to God, Home, and Country.
