An economic crisis takes a toll on everyone in the community. During these times it is normal to feel stressed. Uncertainty about the future, loss of income, inability to pay bills/repay debts, inflation and unemployment are some key causes that affect mental health.
Some people may experience anxiety, depression, insomnia, social withdrawal, physical ailments, and other conditions.
It is important to take care of our mental health during these tough times. Make time for resting and relaxation, engage in a hobby you love, and talk to someone close to you. It's totally okay to ask for help.
Meditation and other breathing/relaxation techniques are also known to help with stress.
Try to focus on the things you can control.
Remember that nothing lasts forever; not even an economic crisis.
