Adolescence implies the development period of transition from childhood to adulthood, a time of rapid growing independence, a period when young people can be both admirable and difficult to live with. They are admirable because of their courage, tenacity, their boundless curiosity concerning both about themselves and the world at large, their insistence upon using their mind to correlate what they feel with what they do, their relentless questioning of almost everything that enters their range of vision and their equally relentless demand that their questions be answered.
They are impatient, in a great hurry, blind to every issue but the issue of the moment. They quibble, debate and object. And many of us can witness modern youth's greatest shortcomings, his failure to develop a strong value system. Thus, the role of parents and guides become necessary and essential at this juncture, for one of the things all boys and girls are going to learn before long is that they are fragile little things in a dangerous world. Morality, discipline, obedience, parental and teacher's blessings and guidance are the needs of the hour for a better life, society and a beautiful world at large.
